Bazda Caves are located in Harran district of Şanlıurfa. It is approximately 67 km away from the city center. It is possible to reach there with your private vehicle via Akçakale Şanlıurfa Road/D885/E99.
Bazda Caves are one of the important historical structures of the city. There is no clear information about when and by whom the building was built. However, since it was used as a quarry for a very long time, it is estimated to be a historical building dating back to Roman times. There are a total of interior caves in the region, including Elbazde, Albazdu and Bozdağ. Especially the quarry in the region is quite remarkable.
Entrance to Bazda Caves is free. It is open to visitors all day long.
