Germus Church

Germuş Church is located in Dağeteği District of Haliliye district of Şanlıurfa. It is approximately 11 km away from the city center. You can reach there via D400 with your private vehicle.

Germuş Church is among the historical churches of the city worth seeing. It is thought that the church was built in the 19th century. There are various narrations about the construction of the church. According to a rumor, the church was built using cut stone collected from the mountains and its construction took about 7 years. It is one of the religious buildings you must see when you come to Şanlıurfa.
