Şanlıurfa Archeology and Mosaic Museum

Şanlıurfa Archeology and Mosaic Museum is located in Eyyübiye district of Şanlıurfa. You can reach the museum, which is approximately a 4-minute walk away, via İpekyol Boulevard.

Although Şanlıurfa Archeology and Mosaic Museum was opened in 1969, it started to serve in 2015. The museum, which consists of three floors in total, is also the largest museum in Turkey. A total of 73800 historical artifacts are exhibited in the museum.

Every year, many local and foreign tourists from outside the city visit the museum. Covering an area of approximately 30 thousand square meters, the museum includes 14 exhibition halls, excavation training areas and 33 animation areas. There are also businesses within the museum where you can meet your eating and drinking needs.

It is open to visitors between 08.00 in the morning and 19.00 in the evening between 1 April and 15 November, and between 08.00 in the morning and 17.00 in the evening between 15 November and 1 April.

The entrance fee to Şanlıurfa Archeology and Mosaic Museum is 18 TL per person.
